Follow Monroe Street north to Spokane Falls Blvd, then head east along the river until you reach the park. It’s a scenic 12-minute walk that takes you past some of Spokane’s most cherished landmarks.
Can I walk to Riverfront Park from the Hotel?
The 12-minute walk to the park is accessible via sidewalks and special pedestrian paths. It’s along a mostly flat route, too! If you’re able to walk 0.5 miles in a single stretch, it’s a pleasant way to visit the park.

Riverfront Park is extremely walkable, allowing you to visit all aspects of the park. Take a ride on the historic Looff Carrousel, walk along the Centennial Trail, stroll on one of the pedestrian bridges crossing the Spokane River waterfalls and enjoy the largest urban waterfall system in the U.S. On the north bank of the park, the Ica Age Floods Playground is a 40,000-sq-ft adventure zone for kids and families.
There are over 20 sculptures to see in and around Riverfront Park. You can even slide down one – “The Childhood Express” is a massive recreation of a Radio Flyer wagon!
